Ventian Influence

Brought are we into this demonetized world alone,

But the caters of a lady, sanitizes you, purifies you,

You grow under her guardianship of responsibility,

And learn the engaging essence of life.

Sooner you set your foot in the crèmes of adolescence,

And are engulfed in trickery of an appalling world,

Before you contemplate, and mull over the erratic rhythms,

The life that once was bliss turns tame.

Stranded in the crossroads of life,

That’s overflowing with pandemonium; you have no control,

A recluse Venetian strolls into your bedlam,

Recedes obscure twinge with tenderness,

Expunging confusion by ravishing charm,

Life befalls rapture.

Early morning wishes, for the start of the day,

Contemplating afternoons for an irrational reason to stay,

Romantic dinner proceeding followed by late night talks,

You kiss her under the stars that overlay.

Time is confused when you are with her,

Allowing you to feel the same appealing essence of life,

You are drowned with the same feeling,

That you had felt earlier, the warmth stayed.

Life now a reality, you look more intently into it,

Assume you are living the dream,

It responds, when you are absorbed,

Shatters, and breaks into million uncountable pieces

Before you contemplate, you choke of existence,

The hold of a sweet hand around your arms loosens,

The ecstasy of a tender touch deceased, your heart dead,

The gentle warmth of a hug now cold and unpleasant,

Departed She is, Desolate You are.

Days grow longer, night even more loner,

Look ahead into an awry life, stepping on the forward,

Torrents of inhumanly inconsistent feeling comes through in waves,

Fighting not to be overwhelmed by the deluge of nostalgia,

You let false impression of vindication revolve around,

Sometimes you supervise, rest fail wretchedly.

Of the innumerable fine night, when it rains,

You look out into the darkness and pain,

With your mind weary and weak, you still consider,

Mulling over life – a berserk little game.
