A Revival

Many misaligned arrows shot,

That recoiled back,

Defunct was a feeling,

Reignited the night we met.

Like strands of DNA,

Our lives intertwined.

Coding for happiness,

A sense of eagerness overwhelmed.

A might heart you have,

Nursing the broken,

Watch you talk and hear you speak,

Sumptuousness revived.

A long wait now redundant,

Fills the voids of verve in me,

Petrified I maybe,

For reasons acknowledged or anonymous.

But I’ll hold you closer still.
